TREATMENT SERVICES

Service Philosophy

At Sway+ ®™ we seek to create a greater understanding that physical health is directly impacted by mental health and vice versa. To promote acceptance and view substance misuse as a coping mechanism for unaddressed mental health and past trauma. For Sway+ meeting people where they are and holding space for them is an important aspect in starting therapy.

The larger Mental Health landscape has been profoundly altered by the 2020 pandemic. The isolation and limitation of access to behavioral health treatment and recovery services has affected people who have been engaged in mental health services, furthermore, it has also impacted people who have not sought out therapy before. The repercussions of the pandemic extended to teens, children, adults and the aging populations without prejudice. The current research implies a high predictability score of ongoing impact on societies and increase costs in medical, mental health, substance use, judicial and economic levels PNAS; NIH; KFF; TWH.

At Sway+ ®™ we strive to be a part of the solution and focus on providing individual therapy and substance use counseling.
